We have both a 2008 Diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee as well as a 2015 Diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee. We do very little highway driving and have had zero trouble with regens. The 2008 is a different beast than the 2015, but neither have given us trouble. We average less than 10k miles per year and most all of that is 5 mile trips to the store.
