I didn't mind the co-op play that 2 or 3 had but I guess as long as the new Fable isn't solely focused on multiplayer, with achievements that can be tedious to get, including any collectables only found in multiplayer games, i don't want that. Fable overall reads as a single player experience with if anything minor multiplayer features.

Honestly I’d go for an Xbox 360 and a physical copy of the game. I’ve never been able to make it run smoothly on the pc. My series X plays it like a champ however. A serious answer. Yes you will be able to play co-op with a single firend. But be warned that the camera will be fixed in a stationary position, the second player will always be a henchman never there own hero, and they can not actually gain anything other than money or gold for their own game.
